Kathy Watness
I was born in New York City. After getting a master’s degree, I spent most of a ten year stint in the Navy stationed at government research labs in sunny California. Naturally, since my degree was in marine biology, I ended up settling up in Indiana after my discharge. I live there to this day and share a house built about 1920 with a husband, three kids and a small white ball of fluff that during the winter is known as Polar Kitty. I have had three stories published in the Blue Kingdom Anthologies edited by Jean Rabe and Stephen Sullivan. My retelling of Rumplestiltskin, “What’s in a Name?” will appear next summer in the anthology “Terrible Twisted Tales” to be published by DAW books.
